When wiping a wooden table with a damp cloth, always dry it thoroughly - wooden surfaces don't like moisture. Similarly, they don't favor too high or too low temperatures. Therefore, always use coasters for hot or cold items. The placement of furniture in the apartment also affects their pristine appearance, which we want to maintain for years. Avoid placing furniture near heat sources such as radiators or ovens. When using sharp tools, glue, or paint daily, use protective pads. Also, remember that regular, excessive exposure to sunlight can change its color to a more faded one. During cleaning, avoid using harsh sponges or granular products that could damage the furniture.

If you decide to use special detergents for wooden furniture, first learn about the wood impregnation process. Each of them has its advantages and characteristic features. Read the label of the chemical cleaner carefully - improperly used cleaners can permanently damage the furniture.

A waterproof, smooth surface allows you not to worry about maintenance - lacquered furniture is the easiest to maintain. Waxed wooden furniture is not recommended for table finishes due to its difficult maintenance - if something spills, the furniture should be wiped immediately; otherwise, the stain will remain. Therefore, this solution works well for chests, cabinets, consoles, whose tops are not used daily. The care of waxed furniture is much more complicated - cleaning must be done using products specifically designed for this purpose. Otherwise, the furniture can be easily damaged.
